About Your Professional Photographer
Darel and Linda Roa are full time professional photographers, serving clients
throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, Africa, and Asia. Over 2000 brides and
grooms have enjoyed working with the Roa’s since 1973. As an expert in the
specialty of weddings, Linda provides uniquely personalized professional album
design for each bride. Linda also serves as artistic guide for our staff photographers
on your wedding day. Darel provides the primary photographic talent as well as
training for our staff photographers. Together, the Roa’s provide a wonderfully
complete and balanced team to serve you.
The Roa’s have participated in and provided leadership for organizations such as:
Professional Photographers of America, Professional Photographers of Washington
NW School of Photography, Pierce County Professional Photographers Association,
Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, Rotary International, Boy Scouts
of America. The entire Roa family has been active in Cascade Christian Schools and
is active in their local church, Mt. View Lutheran Church.
Inspiration and education is provided by some of the greatest wedding and business
professionals in the world: Rocky Gunn, Bill Stockwell, Don Blair, Bruce Hudson,
David Ziser, Monte Zucker, Wai Lui, Scott LeBaron, Charles Lewis, John Hartman,
Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Robert Schuller, Mark Victor Hansen and more. In addition
to their professional associations, the Roa’s are instructors of professional wedding
photography, offering courses thru local educational institutions.
A strong commitment to family values adds depth to their artistry and emotional
significance to their photographs. Having experienced life with two energetic young men
(sons Christopher and Jonathan) keeps a sense of adventure and wonderment in each
day, all of which adds a natural warmth to the Roa’s photographic style.
